Last night, St. Louis Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington went viral after stuffing Alex Ovechkin's 900th career goal puck down his pants.

Immediately after Ovechkin scored Binnington took the puck and shoved it into his hockey pants so that officials couldn't track it down. One of the linesman saw it happen though and he confronted Binnington and managed to get the puck back for the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Check it out:

This morning Binnington told reporters that he was just having a bit of fun and that he always intended on giving the puck back.

From Blues insider Jeremy Rutherford:

"Yeah, I figured ... basically had an assist on the goal there, turning the puck over, didn't think he'd mind sharing (the puck). I had full intention to give it back to him ... yeah, full intention to give it back."

Sure, Jan... I mean Jordan...
