The Blues’ goalie is back to his former self in an intense matchup against Edmonton. Watch below:
The Edmonton Oilers are hosting the St. Louis Blues and captain Connor McDavid is back in the lineup and you’d think all is well.
Until Blues goalie Jordan Binnington lost it in the first period and went after veteran forward Corey Perry.
Moments prior the attack from the Blues’ netminder, Perry had stopped - accidentally on purpose - straight into Binnington’s head while he was laying on the ice and had just covered the puck.
The entire sequence set off Binnington, who punched Perry in the back of the head and attacked him from behind. Then, chaos ensued with Jake Neighbours dropping the glove and fighting Perry for his goalie.

I mean, Binnington was only protecting his turf and we all know he does not have any issue with defending himself and taking matters into his own hands.
And come on, it was Perry. When the two get too close, you just know we're going to see fireworks!
