Pretty much every hockey fan knows that St. Louis Blues goalie Jordan Binnington can be the bigger jerk in the game. And he proved him again on Wednesday night in the game against the Capitals in Washington.

In the second period, Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin became the first player in NHL history to record 900 goals.

Ovi’s teammates rushed to the ice to celebrate the accomplishment and with the attention away from him, Binnington attempted to steal the 900th goal puck by stuffing it in his pants.

Fortunately, the linesman caught him red-handed and Binnington retrieved the puck, way down in his pants!

I mean, the internet will hate it because it’s Binnington, but this is hilarious.

What an asshole!
