Vancouver Canucks forward JT Miller has been trending for all the wrong reasons.

But he does not care.

On Thursday night, in the last moments of the game with the Canucks trailing 3-2 against the Winnipeg Jets, goalie Collin Delia attempted to get back the bench for the extra attacker, but hesitated several times. This prompted Miller to shout at him to get off the ice before slamming his stick on the net in disgust.

The video went viral and many fans spent Friday criticizing Miller’s leadership and toxic attitude in the Canucks’ dressing room.

On Friday, Miller was asked about the heated exchange with his goalie, and the Canucks’ forward downplayed the incident, telling Ryan Leslie of Sportsnet that there is no drama between the two and only cares about the opinions of his team.

Delia pretty much stoof on his head during the whole game, but will be remembered for this altercation with Miller. The goalie has spent the bulk of his professional career in the AHL, but got his third start of the season for the Canucks against the Jets after he impressed the coaching staff in a 5-2 victory against the Edmonton Oilers last Friday. Even after the loss to Winnipeg, Delia has still put up a 2.58 goals-against average and .920 save percentage in 2022-23.
