JT Miller gets bashed online for his toxic attitude exposed in last night’s loss

Fans are most upset over Miller’s behaviour than the loss!

The Vancouver Canucks fell to the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night, but that’s not what hurt their fans the most.

In the last moments of the game with the Canucks trailing 3-2, goalie Collin Delia attempted to get back the bench for the extra attacker, but hesitated several times. While he might have been seeking a call from the bench, his hesitation cost his team some valuable seconds, which then prompted his own teammate, JT Miller, to shout at him to get off the ice before slamming his stick on the net in disgust.

Don’t get me wrong, I understand how passionate players can be, especially in the heat of the moment, but Miller forgot how Delia was arguably the Canucks’ best player last night.

It was still Miller who ended trending on social media for his outburst, with fans angry at his behaviour and pointing to a toxic situation in Vancouver’s dressing room. Fans did not hold back when calling out Miller for disrespecting his own goalie.

Some even called for Miller to be traded, instead of the Canucks moving captain Bo Horvat closer to the deadline, or to be bought out of his new hefty contract.

This is surely an ugly look for Miller, whom we hope had a chance to speak with Delia after the game and smooth things over.

Because if not, he needs to decide if he is going to play and be a good teammate, or if he wants to coach - elsewhere.
