Jumbotron collapses during installation and injures worker!
Terrible news in the KHL…
HockeyFeed
Ahead of the upcoming season, the KHL’s Lokomotiv Yaroslavl was hoping to get a new media cube, mostly known as the Jumbotron around the NHL, but a tragedy took place instead…
Karl Månsson, an editor for HockeyNews.se in Stockholm, reports that the media cube collapsed during installation in Lokomotiv Yaroslavls stadium on Monday. And unfortunately, he also noted that one worker was injured in the process.
While this is not the first time the team, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, has been in the middle of a tragedy, this is of course nothing compared to what happened to the club back in 2011. Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crashed on September 7th 2011, claiming the lives of 43 members of the KHL team.
There is no update on the worker’s status and if the broken media cube will delay the team’s training camp or even preseason action.
We simply hope the health of the work in question isn’t in danger and that he will get better soon.
