Junior A team wins first game in two years!

After two years and 89 losses, the Surrey Knights of the Junior A Pacific Junior Hockey League are winners again. The Knights bested the visiting Abbotsford Pilots 2-0 on the back of an outstanding 49 save performance from goaltender Zakary Babin

The Knights were outplayed most of the evening and the Pilots ended up owning them on the shot clock 49-12, but the Knights two goals were good enough to break the streak and put a single W in the win column.

The team’s on ice celebration was awesome. Check it out:

How great is that? Congrats, Knights. No one has earned this victory more than you.
