Just call them the streak stoppers!

For the second time this season, the Canucks put an end to a long winning streak.

Early this year, they put an end to the Montreal Canadiens perfect start to the season and now they shut the door on the Florida Panthers' 12 game winning streak. Sometimes you just need some motivation. The Canucks have been able to raise their play to put a stop to these streaks. Add to that that Roberto Luongo was back in town and there wasn't much extra motivation needed for the Canucks last night.

The Canucks almost stopped Patrick Kane's streak as well. Oh well, stopping two long winning streaks is still pretty good. Teams will now want to check their schedule if they are to face the Canucks if they start streaking.
