With the Leafs sitting firmly out of playoff contention, tonight's game against the Montreal Canadiens has no meaning. Despite the standings, don't let Nazem Kadri hear you saying this game is meaningless. The Maple Leafs' forward is going to do all he can to ensure a Toronto victory on Saturday. "Toronto-Montreal: It really doesn’t get much bigger than this. I don’t care what the standings say. It’s all about pride," he told Mark Masters of TSN. "We’re definitely not going to quit. We’re going to show some passion and some pride here and try and do it for each other." Kadri also spoke of the rebuild in Toronto and where he finds himself in it. "I’ve always shown my commitment to Toronto," he stated. "It's my home. I love the fans. I love the players. I love the organization. I definitely want to be around and be (part of the) solution, but I guess time will tell." The Maple Leafs and Canadiens haven't played since opening night and the two teams have gone in very different directions this season.
