The Buffalo Sabres made a big move to acquire forward Evander Kane from the Winnipeg Jets and since being move he has become one of the most unpopular players in the entire National Hockey League, largely due to his antics off the ice.
On Thursday the media confronted Evander Kane and asked him about his off-ice indiscretions, of which there are seemingly many, and Kane's answer was not at all satisfying, and you could tell even the members of the press were surprised he had flippantly shrugged off any responsibility for his actions. The fact that his actions were allegedly captured on video, and allegedly include him grabbing a woman by the neck, makes his dismissal even more unbelievable.
Sabres general manager Tim Murray, the man who made the move to bring in Kane, has indicated his extreme displeasure at Kane's behavior already and this answer won't be making him any happier. One has to wonder how long of a future Kane has as a member of the Sabres.
