Incredible patience from the Kings' sniper.
It's safe to say that Los Angeles Kings GM Adam Foote was taking a bit of a risk in acquiring and in signing a long-term, big money deal with forward Kevin Fiala. It's also safe to say that that risk is paying off so far for all sides.
The 26 year old Swiss sniper has 17 goals and 52 points in 52 games during his first season with the Kings, following a 33 goal, 85 point season last year with the Minnesota Wild. He's the Kings' leading scorer and a huge part of the team's offense. He's a human highlight reel, but he saved his best highlight of the season for tonight's contest against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Check out Fiala making 'Canes defensseman Dylan Coghlan look foolish before roofing it past Freddie Andersen:
The patience! The hands! The snipe!
What a goal!
