Kevin Weekes reports monster trade rumor between Buffalo and Calgary involving Jack Eichel

This would certainly be a blockbuster trade if this were to go through.

The Jack Eichel sweepstakes continue for the ex-Sabres captain, with several teams reportedly in the bidding for his services. And according to NHL Insider Kevin Weekes, the Calgary Flames have entered the fray with an offer that would be nearly impossible for the Sabres to reject. 

He reports that the Flames would be prepared to send Matthew Tkachuk, an  upcoming 1st round pick, a former 1st round pick, and two prospects to Buffalo in exchange for Eichel: 

Tkachuk has scored four goals with two assists in nine games played for the Flames this season, while Eichel has yet to suit up thanks to his medical standoff with the Sabres.
