Key updates released on Matthew Knies, Ilya Samsonov

The Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to once again extend their Round 2 Stanley Cup Playoffs series against the Florida Panthers when the two teams reconvene for Game 5 back in Toronto later this evening.
And while the good news is that the Leafs were able to stave off elimination with a 2-1 win over Florida on Wednesday night, the bad news is that they will not have the services of forward Matthew Knies for tonight's game.
But now, back to the good news. Knies as well as injured goaltender Ilya Samsonov were on the ice this morning participating in practice:
According to head coach Sheldon Keefe, Knies has "improved a lot".
