KHL bans referees from social media

The KHL announced yesterday that its referees are no longer permitted to use social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to Alexei Anisimov, the head of the league’s referee department.

The reason for the new policy is unknown at this time and it's worth noting that the KHL has actually removed the announcement from their official social media accounts.
