KHL game kicks off with intense line brawl after opening face-off

This game might change your opinion on preseason contests!

In an almost empty arena, two KHL teams decided to entertain the few fans who showed up to their exhibition game on Tuesday with an epic line brawl off the opening face-off.

As soon as the puck dropped, all 10 skaters of Avangard Omsk and HC Sochi got into a fight in five scums! The only thing missing on the ice was a goalie fight!

It almost looked planned except for the bloody noses loose equipment flying all over! Check it out:

This is the second time this month that these two teams have pulled this move. During a different preseason contest back on Aug. 4, the opening face-off eventually featured five fights as well. That game featured a whopping total of 149 penalty minutes handed out as the scraps continued throughout the contest.

Unfortunately for HC Sochi, both contests ended with Avangard Omsk victorious. They might need to stop fighting and get to scoring goals for a different ending later this season.

The KHL regular season kicks off on Monday with the first matchup between Avangard Omsk and HC Sochi coming on Sept. 21.
