It appears that another international player is looking to make the move to North America.

According to a report from Russian hockey insider Aivis Kalnins Kontinental Hockey League forward Roman Lyubimov has made the decision to leave the KHL and is currently negotiation with at least three National Hockey League organizations.

Kalnins did not reveal which teams Lyubimov is talking to or how far along the negotiations have gotten, but he did confirm that the decision to leave CSKA is official and that there is "serious interest" on Lyubimov state side.

At 23 years old the forward will be a project that likely requires some American Hockey League seasoning before making it to the NHL level.
