The Kings look to end their season opening five game homestand with a second consecutive win tonight. They didn't have the greatest start, losing their first 3 games but can somewhat salvage that by winning the last two.

The Kings will faceoff against the Colorado Avalanche who will be without their star defenseman Tyson Barrie who was suspended after a bad hit to Simon Despres in their game on Friday. This will definitely favor the Kings, the Avalanche have the best power play in the league. Rolling at 41.7%, Barrie was a big part of that.

The Kings will look to take all the positives of their overtime win Friday and turn them into another win tonight. Anze Kopitar scored his first of the season and hopefully that will get him rolling. Milan Lucic will continue to play on the second line with Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli.

Should be a good game.
