UPDATE: This just in, the Los Angeles Kings have officially unveiled their "new" logo.
The team is throwing it back to the 'Gretzky Era' Kings with the classic 90s silver and black chevron logo.

This just in, according to the NHL uniform specialists at Icethetics, both the Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks will be returning to their vintage 1990s logos for the upcoming 2024-25 NHL season.
The Kings will be throwing things back to the 'Gretzky Era' Kings logo, while the Ducks will rock the iconic 'Mighty Ducks' logo, albeit with their new black, orange and gold colorway.

Personally, I was hoping for a return to the purple and green jerseys that the Ducks first wore in the league, but I wonder if Utah's purple branding played a part in the Ducks deciding to stand pat?
In any case, fans have been calling for the Ducks to revert to their original logo for years now. Smart move that will almost certainly pay off in jersey sales.
