Kings score on a very odd play

Nick Shore scored one of the easiest goals of his hockey career tonight and it was on a strange play.

It all started with Coyotes goalie Louis Domingue playing the puck behind his net. He had control of the puck and Tanner Pearson came from the left side to pressure him. Pearson made contact with Domingue causing him to fall forward into teammate Boyd Gordon. The play continued with Domingue looking a bit shaken up. He got up and kind of just stood there potentially looking for a penalty and then proceeded to check his mask. During all of this, the puck came to Shore who then fired it in the net.

Domingue wasn't even back in his net so it was very easy for Shore to put it past him. Domingue was making a case that his mask was off when the puck went into the net. After a long review, the goal was awarded and it was based on that Domingue took his mask off himself. If he would have just went back into his net, he probably would have made the save. Shore will definitely take the goal. it is now 2-2 early in the third period.
