Kirby Dach makes Moritz Seider pay for his bullying.

Dach gets the last laugh.

For those of us who have been watching these two men play against one another for some time, this came as relatively little surprise, but that didn't make it any less hilarious.

Montreal Canadiens forward Kirby Dach and Detroit Red Wings defenseman Moritz Seider have had something of a rivalry with one another for a while now and although Dach is playing for a new team this season it seems that his hatred, or perhaps simply his dislike, fo the Red wings blue liner has migrated with him to his new team north of the border. Dach and Seider clashed once again on Friday night when the Canadiens and Red Wings faced off, and this time it produced some comedy gold.

It was actually Seider who seems like he was the man responsible for instigating this particular incident, with the big Red Wings defenseman getting up in the face of his opponent and getting quite physical with him in the process. Seider engaged in some pushing and shoving, and even tugged on Dach's jersey/equipment a few times, effectively ragdolling the Canadiens' forward around for a few seconds with no call from the officials on the ice.

It looked like Dach was taking it all in stride and wasn't going to retaliate despite Seider being rather annoying, but the Canadiens forward was only biding his time before striking at the perfect moment. After Dach skated back up the ice, fresh off the bullying from Seider, he decided to get his revenge by 'helping' the Red Wings' defenseman back to his spot on the bench. In a very casual looking manner, Dach proceeded to push Seider from behind, shoving him over the bench with a little more momentum than he would have liked, producing a rather hilarious moment.

As was the case with Seider's bullying moments before, the officials on the ice decided to let this one slide without a penalty.

Although it seems likely that both men should have received offsetting minors here, I'm glad the officials let this one play out. We certainly haven't seen the last of the budding rivalry between these two.
