Kirill Kaprizov gets new reputation following interview in Montreal

Minnesota Wild star forward Kirill Kaprizov might be ranked as one of the top players in the National Hockey League, he got a new reputation after his trip to Montreal earlier this week. The Wild were hosted by the Canadiens, and Kaprizov was in the dressing room when a crowd of reporters surrounded Mats Zuccarello who was being interviewed for having played with the Habs head coach Martin St. Louis in the past. La Poche Bleue’s Laurie Couture Dallaire got in tow to get closer to Zuccarello and when Kaprizov noticed she was looking to get a spot closer to hear all of Zuccarello’s answer. Seeing that Kaprizov’s stall was left to Zuccarello’s, the Russian forward got up and offered his seat to Laurie so she could do her job best.

Couture-Dallaire explained how Kaprizov waited a few minutes to finish undressing and getting out of practice gear as she took his place in front of his spot in the dressing room. The star forward demonstrated how he is not only a fine player, but also a fine gentleman looking to help people. A true professional.

You gotta love stories like this that show that despite their high salaries and stardoms, several NHL players are also genuine and kind and for fans across the league, this is always something that gets a smile.
