No knockouts?! No judges!? No winners!? WTF!?
The much anticipated fight between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. set to take place this Saturday just lost a lot of intrigue. The two boxing legends officially came out of retirement for this fight and... well it doesn't look like it'll be much of a fight at all.
Even though Tyson is 54 and Jones is 51, this fight still aroused the interest of the curious who were eager to see which of the two veteran boxers would win ... publishes the official combat rules.
According to Global Fight Talk, the fight in question won't even have a decisive winner.
Check out these six rules for the bout, as reported by Global Fight Talk:
Um... how do they win then? A thumb war? Arm wrestling competition? Rock, paper, scissors?
Basically, we'll be privy to no more than a friendly sparring session between a 51 and a 54 year old boxer. Pass.
Now it makes sense that both sides were so reluctant to release the rules of engagement until the week of the fight.
Are you still willing to pay $50 to order the event on pay-per-view? Hard pass for me.
