Kraken name Jordan Eberle as 2nd captain in franchise history
Yes! Let's go, Ebs!
It's official, the Seattle Kraken have named veteran forward Jordan Eberle as the 2nd captain in franchise history.
From the team's official social media account:
Eberle takes over for previous captain Mark Giordano, who was the team's captain in their inaugural campaign in 2021-22.
Joining Eberle in the Kraken's leadership group are assistant captains Yanni Gourde, Jaden Schwartz and Adam Larsson. Eberle is a fantastic pick, in my opinion. He's been around the league for nearly 15 years now and he's been through the ups and downs of a few franchises now. The 34 year old native of Regina, SK put up 17 goals and 44 points in 78 games with the Kraken last season and has an impressive 299 goals and 702 points in 1018 career NHL games split between the Edmonton Oilers, New York Islanders and Kraken.
