Krug mocks teammate for terrible math skills!

There seems to be a lot of pressure placed on the Boston Bruins, who are facing the best team in the league, the Washington Capitals, on Wednesday night in a battle at the very top.

The Caps are just three points above the Bruins in the league’s overall standings as Boston will look to snap its three-game losing skid. Bruins forward Brett Ritchie spoke with media after practice today and wanted to make a strong statement on his team’s performance and fans’ expectations.

He just messed up…

“It’s an 82-game season. We weren’t going to go 80-3 or whatever it was.”

Don’t worry! Fans and pundits weren’t the only one to pick up in the math acumen.

Teammate Torey Krug did not miss the chance to laugh at Ritchie for his terrible math skills.  He took to Twitter to poke fun at his teammate with a funny mistake of his own to keep the fun going.

“Stay in skool kids!”

One of the things that makes the Bruins have so much success is the great chemistry they have in the room, and this clearly proves it!
