Kucherov chirps ref Wes McCauley, but gets an unexpected answer
Love this! Definitely need more mic'd up interactions between refs and players, especially during the playoffs.

Not sure how this got missed, but Bleacher Report shared a hilarious video earlier today from Game 7 of the Tampa Bay Lightning's first round playoff series against the Toronto Maple Leafs featuring Lightning superstar Nikita Kucherov and referee Wes McCauley that absolutely must be seen.
In the clip Kucherov chirps McCauley asking him how he got his job, you know since he's so bad at it, well... the response and McCauley's honest may have thrown Kucherov for a loop.
