Kuznetsov breaks team's rules in awkward TV moment

This makes for good TV though...

Evgeny Kuznetsov is one entertaining individual. The Washington Capitals star forward isn't only entertaining on the ice, scoring a goals and the overtime winner in a 4-3 win over the Colorado Avalanche last night, but he remains entertaining once the game is over.

After the Caps' win, the Russian forward was pulled aside by NBC Sports for a postgame interview in which he dropped a line he knew went against what the team had asked him to stop doing last year...

While addressing teammate Tom Wilson stepping up for him and dropping the gloves after he received a dirty hit by Avalanche's Ian Cole, Kuzy accidentally dropped a swear which made the TV interview quite an awkward moment.

“We know Tom play physical and he’s huge for us. When sh*t like that happen, he stand up. That’s always nice to have a guy like that on the team,” Kuznetsov said.

Its probably because Kuznetsov was going against team's rules after the Capitals' public relations actually told him to stop swearing so much in interviews back in March 2018. The Russian player revealed that information as he explained that he usually swears when he feels nervous...

However, it did not stop him from swearing a whole lot as he made his speech this summer when celebrating the franchise's first Stanley Cup during the parade in Washington...

He was probably focused on partying, like he was focused on celebrating his team's win last night during his interview.

We can forgive him, right?
