Kuznetsov receives incredible Scrooge McDuck painting

When he decided to remodel and decorate his home, Washington Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov decided to employ the help of interior designer Max Novikov to help give his space some flair. Judging by Novikov’s gift to Kuznetsov, we’d say he’s on the right track.

Check out this incredible painting by Russian artist Sasha Kireeva, which was given to Kuznetsov as a gift and meant to be an object of good fortune:

Thats… unique. For those who don’t know, that’s Scrooge McDuck from the popular 1980s cartoon Duck Tales making it rain $1000 bills while surrounded by gold in his famous bank vault.

Novikov, presented the gift to Kuznetsov on Friday in Chelyabinsk, Russian and said, “We are always pleased to make our customers gifts. We gave Evgeny Kuznetsov a chic picture made by the artist of our center, Sasha Kireeva.”

 Yes. Yes, you did. We still don’t know why, but we love it.
