Kyle Connor reportedly signs a big money deal with Jets on opening night

This just in from NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Winnipeg Jets have reportedly signed pending free agent star Kyle Connor to a long-term deal worth $12 million per season.

From Friedman this evening:

The 28 year old Connor is/was slated to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st, 2026. He's coming off a seven year contract that paid him just over $7 million annually.

He put up an incredible 41 goals and 97 points in 82 games for the Jets last season.
