Plenty of fans remember Kyle Dubas, who was then the general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, getting into a shouting match with Tampa Bay Lightning fans during last year's Stanley Cup Playoffs series.
And now, Dubas is hitting back at fans again, albeit in a slightly more polite manner. He decided to reply on social media to a fan who suggested that Penguins captain Sidney Crosby could be scratched for the remainder of the season. The initial post:
"Not to be pedantic, ok fine to be pedantic. Points-per-game is a rate stat. Are the Penguins just going to sit him the rest of the year lol"
