Although things got off to a rough start for National Hockey League star forward Patrik Laine with the Montreal Canadiens, Laine suffered a serious knee injury during the preseason that has limited him to just 3 games thus far this season, the Finnish forward and his loved ones do seem to be really enjoying their time there.

Laine stunned fans with an outrageous Canadiens-themed outfit on Saturday night, showing his love and appreciation for his new team and city, and a recent Instagram post would appear to show that his family is feeling much the same way.

Recently Laine and his fiancee Jordan commissioned a work of art from Montreal artist Jessica Boudreau and to say it was a huge success may be an understatement. Laine and his fiancee were moved to tears by how it turned out, a clear sign that they both loved the work from Boudreau.

Here is a look at their reaction to seeing the painting for the first time:

The best part though may not even have been the work of art they commissioned however but rather the special gifts that came along with it in the form of a pair of paintings from Boudreau's children. Boudreau's son and daughter both made a painting of their own in honor of the Montreal Canadiens star forward and not only did they turn out to be pretty amazing in their own right, they were downright hilarious.

You can see both of the kids describing their painting as well as Laine's reaction to seeing them for the first time in the short video below:

It has only been a short time, but Laine seems to be fitting in quite well in Montreal.
