Despite the fact that there is some very good action going on in the National Hockey League tonight, many eyes will be glued to the World Junior Championship.
It sounds like three members of the Leafs organizations will be among those sets of eyeballs as a report from Kristen Shilton of TSN has revealed that American-born Auston Matthews has placed a friendly wager with two other Leafs.
Willing to take Matthews up on his offer was both head coach Mike Babcock and fellow player Mitch Marner, although what exactly has been wagered is currently unknown, and is unlikely to ever be revealed to the general public for several reasons.
Who do you think walks away the winner tonight? Canada or the USA?
