The Toronto Maple Leafs have made a few key additions to their forward group this offseason, but insider James Mirtle of The Athletic reports that they aren't done quite yet.

GM Brad Treliving has acquired the likes of Matias Maccelli, Nicolas Roy and Dakota Joshua this offseason, but let's not forget that he also lost a major piece of his forward core with Mitch Marner leaving for the Vegas Golden Knights.

Mirtle reports that Treliving is likely to make at least one more trade this offseason in order to secure his forward group.

"The front office is still looking for that upgrade up front. I don’t expect Matias Maccelli, [Nicolas] Roy and Dakota Joshua to be it for forward adds," Mirtle wrote of The Athletic earlier this week.

There's little available on the free agent market, of course, but Treliving has shown that he prefers to go the trade route anyways.

So... who's available?

Dallas Stars forward Jason Robertson is probably the biggest fish in the pond but Treliving would have to send some serious assets to the Stars to land him. A more likely target might be someone like Pittsburgh Penguins forward Rickard Rakell and Bryan Rust. Or how about former Leafs forward Nazem Kadri, now of the Calgary Flames? Treliving, of course, signed Kadri as a free agent back when he was employed by the Flames. Could their be a double reunion in the works?
