The Toronto Maple Leafs are headed back home for Game 6 after a gritty OT victory in Boston this evening. Leafs forward Matthew Knies ended the game in the extra frame on a rebound goal off a net front drive from captain John Tavares.

It was a gritty effort from a Leafs team that looked down... but not out. Not yet, at least.

The Leafs were without superstar forward Auston Matthews who has some sort of mystery illness or injury that some feel may be concussion symptoms, but they managed to extend the series in his absence.

Leafs fans, as you might imagine, are celebrating tonight's victory but perhaps no one is doing it with more style than this news super fan.

Things are getting HEATED between the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs this evening.

Through two periods with a 1-1 tie, you can see that both sides are getting a little frustrated with themselves, their opponents and the officials.

In the final seconds of the 2nd period with both sides getting after each other following the whistle, referee Steve Kozari absolutely GOES OFF on David Pastrnak and Charlie McAvoy of the Bruins.

Check it out:

And you just KNOW that NESN broadcaster and noted Bruins homer Jack Edwards had something to say about it:

C'mon Jack... it's past your bedtime, bud.
