Leafs fans robbed of another season highlight thanks to COVID-19

This just in, the Carolina Hurricanes have announced that goaltender Frederik Andersen has entered the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list,

And in true Canadian sports media tradition, Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman has relayed this story into how it relates to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

All snarkiness aside, this is actually a big deal for a large number of Leafs fans. While Andersen wasn't exactly driven out of town, he did have a lot of fans who didn't believe in him. But, at the same time, he did pretty in some pretty stellar performances during his time with the team and I know for a fact that there were Leafs fans looking forward to his return to Toronto. Chalk up another win for covid, I guess...
