
Surprise, surprise...
UPDATE: NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reports that Dakota Joshua has a kidney ailment/injury and may be out of the lineup for some time.
This just in, the Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that forward Dakota Joshua and defenseman Chris Tanev will not play tonight's game against the New Jersey Devils due to injury. Additionally, captain Auston Matthews will be a game time decision for tonight's game.
NHL insider Darren Dreger reports that Tanev's injury is not related to his previous injury this season.
The thing is... Tanev has about 4,000 previous injuries in his NHL career so it has to be related to some sort of ailment that he has experienced at some point.
