Talk about making the most of your first impressions!
One of the cool things about hockey goaltenders is that they get to express a large part of their personality with customized gear as well as mask artwork, and Vyacheslav Peksa taking full advantage.
Goaltender Vyacheslav Peksa, whom the Leafs selected 185th overall (Round 6) of the 2021 NHL Draft, has released images of his new eye-popping equipment from notable gear manufacturer Brian's Hockey.
Earlier this year, the Leafs signed Peksa to a three year entry level contract that carries an average annual value of the contract is $851,660. While playing with Bars Kazan (VHL) last season, he appeared in 40 games and amassed a record of 13-19-6 with a 2.34 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage.
