UPDATE: Leafs head coach Craig Berube provided a bit of a non-update on goaltender Joseph Woll tonight, saying only that the extent of his injury is not yet known.

That's.... that's not good news if you're a Leafs fans.

Read below for our earlier report on Woll's injury.

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll left tonight's game against the Carolina Hurricanes after two periods and did not return, thanks to a lower-body injury. Backup Dennis Hildeby took his place for the 3rd period in victory over the 'Canes.

Of course, the team is also without starting goaltender Anthony Stolarz due to injury also.

For the record, the Leafs are in last place in the NHL's Atlantic Division. And both their top goalies are out with injury. Not ideal. Not at all.

Thoughts, Leafs fans?
