Superstar forward Auston Matthews will not play for the Toronto Maple Leafs this evening when they take on the Philadelphia Flyers at Scotiabank Arena in downtown Toronto.
Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe confirmed at the Tuesday morning skate that Matthews would not play and is officially listed as "day to day" with a minor injury.
Matthews, who is just two goals away from 60 goals on the season, is currently the NHL's top goal scorer.
