Toronto Maple Leafs forward Trevor Moore returned to action before the Christmas break, but it was short lived.
After returning against the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday the 21st, Moore was out of the lineup again on Monday when the Leafs faced the Carolina Hurricanes before the holiday break.
At the time, no further information was made available, but Moore had been dealing with a shoulder injury since mid-November before returning to the Leafs’ lineup.
However, on Friday morning, the Maple Leafs revealed that Moore would be out indefinitely due to a concussion, per TSN's Kristen Shilton.
No further details has been given on what might have caused Moore to suffer a concussion. Moore’s return to the lineup was delayed when he was banged up on a hit during practice last Monday.
It is not known if Moore’s absence is related to that practice incident.
In 22 games this season, Moore has three goals and two assists.
