Some shuffling of the deck from Coach Keefe.
This just in, veteran defenseman Joel Edmundson will make his return to the Toronto Maple Leafs' lineup after missing 8 games with a suspected foot injury.
Check it out:
Edmundson had been out of the lineup since blocking a shot off his foot against the Carolina Hurricanes back on March 24th. He was acquired by the Leafs ahead of the NHL's March 7th trade deadline in a deal with the Washington Capitals.
Veteran Jake McCabe will draw out of the lineup for Edmundson, but coach Sheldon Keefe stated that McCabe is not injured, he's merely taking a game off for "maintenance". "He has some bumps and bruises," said Keefe to reporters this morning.
