The Leafs continue to move players out of Toronto.

James Reimer is the most recent player on his way out. He has been traded along with recently acquired Jeremy Morin to the San Jose Sharks for goalie Alex Stalock, forward Ben Smith and a conditional 4th round pick in 2018.

San Jose was looking to boost their backup goalie position behind Martin Jones. In obtaining Reimer, they have definitely done that.

As for Alex Stalock, in 13 games played this season, he is 3-5-0-2 with a 2.94 GAA and a .884 save percentage. Ben Smith has only played 6 games for the Sharks this season. HE has 0 points and is a minus 1 in those games.

The return for Reimer might not seem as high as most people thought they could get. Unfortunately there was quite a few goaltenders available so it made value drop.

Good luck James, thanks for your 6 seasons in Toronto.
