Leafs place forward Ondrej Kase on long-term injury reserve, make three emergency call ups
A tough break for the Czech forward.
HockeyFeed
The Toronto Maple Leafs have officially placed injured forward Ondrej Kase on long-term injured reserve (LTIR), meaning that he'll be out of the team's lineup for at least 10 games or 24 days.
Additionally, the team has recalled Mac Hollowell, Filip Král and Michael Hutchinson on an emergency basis.
This is obviously a tough break for Kase, who has yet to play a game since catching an elbow to the head from Nashville Predators forward Matt Duchene last week.
