Leafs reportedly sign UFA defenseman Victor Mete
The former Habs and Sens blueliner joins his third Eastern Canadian franchise.

According to a report from Toronto Maple Leafs reporter Luke Fox, the team is signing free agent defenseman Victor Mete.
The 24 year old blueliner played in 37 games for the Ottawa Senators last season, putting up just seven assists. He had formerly played with the Montreal Canadiens and has five goals and 43 points in 236 career NHL games split between the Sens and Habs.
