Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Garret Sparks unveiled his new mask earlier today and it features a very touching tribute to three goaltenders who have passed.

Featured prominently on the mask is Leafs legend Johnny Bower who passed away in late 2017 at 93 years of age. Sparks has been outspoken in his grief surrounding Bower’s passing as the two had been close friends since Sparks joined the Leafs organization back in 2011.

Former NHLer net minder Ray Emery also features on the mask, as well. The 36 year old goalie passed away this past summer during a tragic swimming accident in his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario.

The last goaltender featured on Sparks’ new mask is Parker Tobin, the Humboldt Broncos goaltender who tragically passed away in April’s horrific bus accident.
