Leafs suffer another injury, call up prospect Fraser Minten
Another player on the IR.
The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that forward David Kampf has been placed on injury reserve and that they have recalled forward Fraser Minten from the AHL's Toronto Marlies.
Check it out:
Kampf has zero goals and three assists in 18 games to start the season. Meanwhile, the 20 year old Minten has two goals and four points in five games for the Marlies this season. The native of Vancouver, BC was selected in the 2nd round (38th overall) of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft and has emerged as one of the NHL's top prospects over the past two seasons. If nothing else, it'll be interesting to see how the kid steps up to the opportunity.
