Hockey legend Phil Esposito blasted the NHL for their lack of promotion of their international games that took place in China this week.

Here's what Esposito told Nathan Vanderklippe from the Globe and Mail:  "Personally, I think the NHL blew it" I looked in the papers. There wasn't a goddamn word about it. Not one word."

The NHL held two games in China this year. One in Shanhai and the other in Beijing. Both games did not sell out and the game in Shanghai only did 10,000 in an 18,000 capacity arena. Esposito is one of the all time greats who put up legendary numbers with the Boston Bruins.
