Les Canadiennes de Montreal are asking for your help.

On Friday, the players asked for fans' help as one of the girls got her car stolen downtown. As the thief drove away with the stolen vehicle, they also stole five pairs of skates from the professional players, who are starting their postseason tonight.

In the Twitter post, les Canadiennes are asking fans to call the local police if they have any information on the incident.

"Les Canadiennes start playoffs tonight and one of our players had her black Jeep Wrangler stolen downtown - including 5 pairs of player skates. If you hear or see something that can help us retrieve the car, please contact local police."

In the post, they do reassure fans that they have spares for tonight's contest, however, we certainly hope they can have their belongings as soon as possible.

The last two defending Clarkson Cup champions are facing off in Montreal for a best-of-three CWHL semi-final to get back to the championship game as les Canadiennes renew hostilities with Markham Thunder.

Let's hope the girls can get some help!
