Liam O'Brien busted open in scrap with Tyler Tucker.
Utah's Liam O'Brien was left leaking after a brief scrap with St. Louis' Tyler Tucker.
Utah HC forward Liam O'Brien is an absolute barbarian.
On Saturday night O'Brien wasted no time getting involved physically during the showdown between Utah HC and the St. Louis Blues, with O'Brien dropping the gloves after just barely more than 2 minutes had run off the game clock.
O'Brien faced off against St. Louis Blues defenseman Tyler Tucker who seemed eager to answer the challenge from O'Brien, with the two men appearing to agree to drop their gloves before the face off.
Unfortunately this one would be relatively short in large part to the National Hockey League's officials quickly getting involved and putting a stop to the whole thing. One of the reasons the officials may have looked to end the exchange early was the damage done to O'Brien's head, damage that left him leaking profusely from his forehead down to his chest.
O'Brien made quite the imposing picture as he roared to get the crowd pumped up after his fight with Tucker, drawing a roar of approval back from the fans who clearly enjoyed the spectacle before their eyes.
Here's a look at the entire exchange between O'Brien and Tucker:
And here is O'Brien hyping up the crowd despite actively leaking all over the place:
