Life changing news for Dylan Larkin in Detroit
He may not be playing in the postseason, but he’s still dealing with a lot. Full story below:
Detroit Red Wings captain and star forward Dylan Larkin probably would hav preferred to still be playing, deep into the postseason at this point, but life still has some pretty awesome things lined up for him. On Friday, the Red Wings announced on their social media accounts that Larkin and his wife Kenzy had their beautiful baby girl on May 19. The picture they shared is from Larkin’s Instagram post, which reads:
“Lennyn Marie Larkin - you are our greatest dream come true.”
This is just amazing news for the couple, especially after the tragedy they endured in December 2023, when Larkin has revealed on his personal Instagram account that he and Kenzy had lost their baby.
“This week my wife and I said goodbye to our baby. It’s hard to find words or positivity in this, but we greatly appreciate your support and understanding, and thank you for respecting our privacy.”
Larkin, who is most likely looking forward to the start of the 2025-26 season, is also probably going to enjoy the time at home with his baby girl.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
