Lightning down two defensemen midway through Game 2
Ouch... talk about a short bench!
HockeyFeed
Just halfway through Game 2 of the Battle of Florida between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Florida Panthers and the Lightning are severely shorthanded due to apparent injuries to defensemen Mikhail Sergachev and Erik Cernak.
Sergachev took a puck to the face in the first period and left down the team's tunnel to get assessed:
He has since returned to play, but Cernak left the game after taking an absolutely HUGE hit from Panthers defenseman Radko Gudas.
Check it out:
Cernak left the game immediately following this hit and has not yet returned, meaning that the Bolts will likely play almost the entirety of this game down a defender. More to come.
